London Special Bicycle Tyre Belt
Looking for something different? Look no further. Here’s one of the best examples of recycling.
These stylish belts make use of unwanted bicycle tyres and are a great statement piece or eco gift.
Each one is unique and comes with a nifty tag detailing tyre type, estimated miles it has covered as a bicycle tyre and where.
And because they’re rubber, they are easy to cut to size. The maker keeps them long so you can choose how you want it and add extra holes if you need them.
This one is the London City Special – a Bontrager Race Lite tyre with a slick tread, a shiny square buckle and 3,100 London miles under its belt (ha!).
Approximate measurements: A one-size fit. Width is 3.6cm and Length is 150cm with 8 holes. Remember it can easily be cut or holes added for a better fit.
