Love Eco

We seriously love these limited edition, handmade bracelets at Love Eco and don’t expect them to hang around very long so be quick.

Not only are they eco, ethical and fair they are surely a ‘must have’ accessory for 2007/8.

Made from vegetable ivory each chunky bracelet is lovingly hand-carved and coloured with vegetal dye making each piece unique. Vegetable ivory is the result of a long and attentive process. It is derived from a palm nut that when dried for up to 8 weeks resembles the finest elephant ivory. The dawn of synthetics saw a decline in this once valuable and desirable material so a resurgence is long overdue.

Please note: As these bracelets are hand made from natural material they may show marks or have minor imperfections, however, this is a characteristic of the material and hand carving process and why we love them so much.
